In reference to the Britten-Norman Islander, one of the planes of the British air force, this jacket is directly inspired by the Britten-Norman Islander. of the history of the aviators of the Royal Air Force.
Licensed, it also presents a leather insert in the name of the military force located in above the right side pocket. Those with a keen eye will also recognize the RAF motto "Per ardua ad astra" (through adversity to the stars). On the right shoulder, a patch in the colors of the flag of Great Britain is sewn.
The Britten is a jacket that can be worn all year round except in extreme cold and extreme heat. Its very well-made lambskin will develop a patina over time to make it a completely unique jacket. This fabulous flight jacket is a must-have for aviation and vintage enthusiasts.
Maintenance tips
This product is made of lambskin. It is the most supple skin among the different types of leather. It is fine, soft and light, and is very easy to maintain!
The only maintenance necessary is waterproofing the material, this should be planned before the first wear of your product and regularly following the frequency with which you wear the product (if you wear it every day in rainy weather, you can repeat it up to once every one to two weeks).
