Combat Worn A-2 Jacket Z21M028
For this new A-2 pre-aged horsehide jacket, the craftsmen at Cockpit USA started with the classic style they use for their government-issued Type A-2 horsehide flight jacket. WWII dark brown mahogany. Knowing that thousands of these jackets were made up until 1943 and some are still in use, they wanted to recreate what one of these jackets might look like after 80 years of wear. This worn A-2 leather jacket is crafted from full-grain horsehide, with many of the original features of a jacket issued at the time, but completely wearable. They put these jackets through a time-consuming manual aging process so that no two jackets look exactly like any other. Enjoy this perfectly aged A-2 that will set you apart from the rest by wearing a brand new version. This worn leather jacket style is not for every customer, but stand out and be one of the first to purchase this very unique horsehide flight jacket.

Maintenance tips
This is a horsehide jacket.
Horsehide is a fairly rare hide. It is found, most of the time, on jacket models exclusively made in the United States such as the historic Schott N.Y.C.
Very thick and above all very resistant, the horse leather models are easy to maintain.
We will still advise you to waterproof them, like any leather jacket, either upon purchase and then at least once every year.
